RESEARCH CENTER ONLINE DATA BASE
Search the ever-growing data base of artifacts, photographs and archival
materials related to the history of Jefferson County.
Quick search using KEY WORDS (such as names and subjects) or use ADVANCED SEARCH
to explore by KEY WORDS, COLLECTIONS or TYPE OF OBJECT. Select from the list
provided from your search by clicking on an item's ID Number. This will provide
more information about the item, including its actual location.
Hint: Use the search buttons at the top of the pages to
navigate, not your browser's back button.
To contribute information regarding a
specific item simply press the "I Know More About This" button on the item's
data page. You can choose to have your information available to the public
or to just be feedback for the Research Center. Once reviewed by the Research
Center staff, the comments you provide will appear in the user contributed
information area of the item's record.
If you cannot come in
to view objects yourself, the Research Center provides research services at $20
per hour and copies of archival materials for .20 per sheet. If you are
