Director of Research + Collections
Ellie DiPietro
Knitting devotee, snorkeler of the Hood Canal, and fixer of all things old and new. Ellie began her museum career 17 years ago and has been learning ever since. She’s passionate about creating engaging museum experiences, researching history’s mysteries, and caring for artifacts that tell our community’s stories.
Visitors Services Associate
Linda Sue Hanlon
Outdoor adventurer, photography enthusiast, and storyteller through art and design. Linda studied art and graphic design and has used these skills to tell stories of place, from the Olympic Discovery Trail to university communications. A lover of history, she believes deeply in the importance of a sense of place.

About the Board of Trustees
The JCHS Board of Trustees provides strategic leadership and oversight to guide the mission and vision of the Jefferson County Historical Society.
Comprised of dedicated community members, the board collaborates with staff to ensure the organization remains a vibrant resource for preserving, interpreting, and celebrating Jefferson County’s rich arts and heritage.
Through governance, advocacy, and fundraising, the board plays a vital role in shaping the future of JCHS and its impact on our community.
