First Night 2024: Cosmic Connection

First Night is a cherished Port Townsend tradition, organized by The Production Alliance and filled with creativity, connection, and celebration. At JCHS, we are proud to partner in this community event, offering special activities at the Museum of Art + History to make the evening even more memorable.

JCHS Activities at the Museum of Art + History

Explore engaging, family-friendly activities that highlight art and history:

• “Glowing Message in a Bottle” – Craft a message, resolution, or wish to set your intentions for the new year.
• Star Scavenger Hunt & Puzzle Stations – A fun challenge for all ages to enjoy together.

🕒JCHS Activities Schedule:
Join us at the Museum from 3:00PM – 6:45PM to participate in these special experiences before the fireworks finale. Please note: No food or drink is allowed in the museum.

First Night Highlights

• 3:00PM: Festivities begin on Madison Street with live music, family-friendly activities, and bonfires.
• 6:00PM: Lantern Parade with the Unexpected Brass Band.
• 6:45PM: Fire Spinning Spectacular.
• 7:00PM: Fireworks Finale to welcome the new year.
