Programs + Education
Curiosity is one of our core values. We believe that we are all learners and teachers, and our museum programs are one of the ways we serve our community and foster a lifelong love of learning.
People of all ages contribute to the richness and diversity of our local arts and heritage, which is why we offer educational experiences for learners at every age and learning level.
Rooted in research, collections, and our immersive museum spaces, we delight in igniting an enduring curiosity for the people, places, and stories that make our region special.
Public Programs
Our museum programs include lectures, special open house events, discussions focused on our current exhibitions, themed activity days for all ages, and more.
Tours
With private, public, and self-guided options, we offer a variety of immersive ways to walk or wheel your way through local history throughout the year.
K-12 Learning
We offer many free resources for K-12 learners and educators, including Education Trunks for use in Jefferson County schools and place-based learning opportunities.
